Learn. Ideas. Fascination. Experiments.

LIFE is a nonprofit initiative to establish outstanding learning laboratories. We develop experimental science learning packages targeting teachers and students in primary and lower-secondary schools, upper-secondary schools (STX, HTX and HF) and vocational training in Denmark. The learning packages are free of charge.

Available from school year 2019/2020

Experimental learning packages

Learning Packages

Learning Packages

The learning packages are developed in collaboration with companies based on authentic application-oriented case studies relevant in efforts to solve current societal problems and/or problems in the students’ everyday lives. LIFE provides the material, including digital learning activities, learning kits, a visit by a mobile laboratory and/or a visit to the LIFE Center in Lyngby, north of Copenhagen.

Course length

Course length

The courses vary from a few lessons to several weeks depending on the subject, the grade of the students and the goal of the course. Instead of doing a full course, elements can be selected to fit the yearly and daily schedule of the individual teachers and classes.

Academic objectives

Academic objectives

The learning packages fulfil one or more Common Objective or Curriculum in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), and they are based on inquiry-based science learning.
